Based on the exploration and practice of training applied talents in automation major, combined with the practical experience of teaching and scientific research in automation major, and the combination of production, study and research, an innovative experimental platform of linear motor based on NI Elvis is developed and realized. The platform makes full use of the advantages of NI Elvis and LabVIEW, and realizes the connection of software and hardware between NI Elvis and linear motor; The experimental design aims at the cultivation of innovation and practical ability to enhance students' ability to analyze and solve problems. By selecting dif erent control strategies, the comprehensive experiment of the control system of linear motor tracking sinusoidal curve can be realized, so that students can deepen their understanding of the basic theory and basic concepts of control, and cultivate innovative thinking and innovative ability.

Through a combination of AI (ChatGPT 3.5) and Mind Genomics thinking, the paper shows the steps to create a course on “critical thinking.” The entire content of the course is developed by AI. The first section shows the synthesis of five student mind-sets. The second section shows the eight-stage journey to Mind Genomics (critical) thinking for different types of students, including those who are below average in intelligence. The third section shows the specifics of the synthesized course designed to teach critical thinking. The fourth section shows the simulated press release about the course given to students with high-functioning autism.
